Imaskopi was created in 2020 by Nelly Skog, a student of fashion history and gender studies. Imaskopi creates non-gendered, knitted garments that question and challenge norms of aesthetics and gender, as well as traditions of handicraft. Imaskopi specializes in knitted sweaters, headwear and accessories, made by hand in Imaskopi's basement studio in Stockholm.

Skog believes in the benefits of slow fashion and in making garments with a long life that are loved and taken care of. Imaskopis concept is simple: the garments are created by hand, and this takes time. They carry a story with them.

Rooted in a commitment to environmental responsibility, Imaskopi also questions the conventions of the traditional fashion system. With its creations, the brand aims to spark a conversation about how we consume and produce fashion today.

Imaskopi is currently exclusively selling at imaskopi.com and JUS in Stockholm.
